5w or 10w, big deal ???

     I went to the auto store to get "fresh" bulbs (lamps) for the front 
     "parking" lights on my '74 spider. I could only find 10 watt bulbs for 
     replacement (instead of the 5 watt bulbs I'm replacing). 
     
     If I can remember my physics from high school ...
     
     10 watts / 12 volts = .833 amps (verses .416 amps of the 5 watt bulb) 
     
     
     Is the increased amperage a "BIG DEAL" in this application ???
