Gidday and 164 throttle problems

Hi all. Firstly I'd like to thank all those who contributed and compiled the
FAQs for the
164. I have made extensive use of it, (along with help via email from Graham
Jones), in
purchasing an Alfa Romeo 164L V6 (92). It's a beautiful car with a lot more
grunt than I
expected. So I've owned it just over a week, I've managed to get in 400+
miles in the
two weekends I've had it, and I've now got a query for you all. Apart from
the fact that the
fuel economy has gone down from 23m/UKgallon on the first 1,1/2 tanks to
16m/UKgallon
(200m on a tank this weekend !!) since the 60k service I got on Friday, (the
boys are going
to take another look at it for me), I am disturbed about the razor sharp
accelerator. Now
I'm not talking about instant response to the throttle but a jerkiness when
throttling on or off.
Even when taking my foot off the accelerator at relatively low speeds it
jerks back and forward
like I've got a problem with my clutch foot especially in 2nd or 3rd gear.

Any ideas?
