164 remote oil filter

I bought the E-Z remote oil filter kit from local auto store
to tried it out.  It use 1/2" inch hoses, after the installation
I was very happy.  Then when I test the car, the oil pressure 
seems low, normally it should be 55 PSI when cold.  But now It's 
only 2/3 of that.  Then when RPM is high then 2500, there is a 
humming noise seems from cams.  I immediately drove home slowly.

Because the kit doesn't have a 90 degree fitting, I have to routed
hose twice as long as suggested.  I don't know if that is the culprit
or the kit is only good for Toyota Corolla. Have anyone installed
a working one ?

At this time I have to remove it, maybe I will try one with bigger
hose and get correct fitting so I can go short as much as possible.

The new location is perfect if it works.  It just right beside the
front manifold, in front of oil pan.  It will transform from hardest 
to easiest oil change if only it works.
