105 Suspension rumble

I know this topic has been covered before, but I just can't remember what
was said. Upon accelerating from a
stop using 1st gear in my '69 Spider I hear a brief drivetrain "rumble,"
from the rear of the car which sounds like maybe a u-joint is binding. I
seem to recall this usually being caused by a aging drive shaft support
bearing. Am I correct, or is there some other interference problem I'm not
thinking about?
