identification

well,

after hearing from all of the digesters that i somehow managed not to run
into at monterey last weekend, i've come up with the ultimate means of
identification.  t-shirts are fine, but you don't really want to wear one
three days in a row (well, *some* of us don't want to).  pins are fine, but
too small.  i've got something better - the 'alfa wanker' hat!

standard baseball cap, with some form of alfa romeo logo/patch on the front,
to signify that the wearer has some affiliation with the marque.  goofy
propeller on top, to signify that the wearer has some affiliation with the
internet.  the owner can personalize his own by inscribing his e-mail
address on it with an indelible pen.
