there are a couple of easy options:

1) read the digests at the ftp site; you can point an ftp client or a web
browser at 

ftp://ftp.digest.net/alfa/

and browse to your heart's content

2) subscribe to the digest in individual message format; you will receive
all the messages, one at a time, instead of bundled.
