Convertible Top Installation

I am getting ready to install a replacement top on my 83 Spider this
weekend. The instructions recommend a neoprene adhesive. A stop at the
local hardware store added to my anxiety by offering a half dozen
different brands of adhesive. The only one marked water resistant came
in a gallon can. Anybody have any recommendations on a brand that has
worked for them?
