Will Owen is absolutely correct. Avoid used belts.
Another point, do not,DO NOT, dye your belts. The chemicals used in dyes
will seriously weaken the belt material. If you must wash your belts use
only a mild detergent. (Woolite is OK) and do not dry them in the
Sunlight. Original equipt belts in some of the old cars we drive is long
overdue for replacement. UV light weakens the fabric over time.
