Hi,
164L
I seem to be having trouble with my side mirrors, the electric adjustment has failed though it does
work on the drivers side occasionally. Does anyone know where the problem is likely to originate
from. Also I stuffed it into the crash barriers a few months ago and broke the head lamp washers.
Apparently they come in two parts but I don't seem to be able to separate them, does anyone
know how this is done. Each of the two pieces is GBP100 (USD160) x 4 = lots of cash, so it
would be much less expensive to repair if I could get the good bits from the broken bits.
Finally I spent a few weeks in the States in June, I hired an Isuzu Trooper in Colorado and drove
down to the Grand Canyon. It was a great drive and on the way back to Denver we went via
South Colorado. We drove a 35 mile trail called the Engineer Pass from Silverton to Lake city, this
was a great experience going up to over 12500 ft. It's 4X4 only so no Alfas, but you can hire a
small Jeep from Silverton and I can thoroughly recommend it. I then went to a conference in
Madison Wisconsin, beautiful city. I saw a Spider for sale on University Boulevard, it's probably
gone by now but it looked in great shape if anyone over there was interested.
Regards
mike
