Milano 2.5 Compression

I checked the compression of my 87 2.5 v6 and my son's 84 2.5 v6, engines
warm, all plugs out, full opened throttle, using a new screw in guage from
Sears. The 84 had a valve job 1 year ago ~ 5k miles. I purchased my Milano
with a stripped timing belt about 40k miles ago and replaced the #1 intake
valve. The results are:
87 Milano 84 GTV6
1: 192 180
2: 190 185
3: 130 175
4: 195 180
5: 197 180
6: 195 170
84 runs significantly better, obviously, since it is running on six cylinders
not five. Why are my other numbers higher? What should they be? I am trying to
decide whether to just pull the 1-2-3 head in order to fix the #3 problem and
replace the distributor drive seal or yank the motor to do a complete valve
job and maybe rings?
What are the odds that #3 is not a valve problem?
Thanks,
John Katos
