general question

is it safe to work under a car if it is supported by axle stands at two
jacking points (either front or rear)?

Do I risk damaging my car (GTV6) if I support it that way - how likely is it
that with the weight of the front of the car passing through the jack points
I may strain the chassis/body in some way?
