alfetta dreams

just to add one small story to the recent Alfetta discourse.

A (?former) local club member, also at the time (4 years or so) proprietor of an
Alfa dismantler/repair business, threw $30,000 into a (79) Alfetta (4 door, just
so there is no misunderstanding). Full motore (Vin Sharp head...), new 45's,
suspension, leather retrim, paint, electric this and that...

Car has been up for sale for a while now, for $12K (initially). Around here,
3.5k gets your average Alfetta, $2k is a dodgey brothers goer, %500 el cheapo's
appear very occasionally,  at $5k it would want to be on the tastefull side of
tidy.
