Thanks for the letter.  I never realized how many people have this same
problem.  I also think that many people out there have dead or dying brakes
and just aren't aware of it.

No I haven't discussed my brakes with Scott Shadle or Brian Shorey.  I'm
familiar with  Brian but not Scott.

One thing of note is that the pressure loss when extended use (ie stop and go)
seems to be from the pump overheating.  I've received a couple of responses
from people who have sprayed water directly onto the pump or wrapped the
accumulator and pump with a wet rag and it appears that the pump starts to
build pressure again.

You suggest taking the car in to the dealer for diagnosis.  The local dealer
(Chrysler) seemed completely ignorant of the system.  I heard that Jags and
some Buicks used the same system.

In conclusion I have put the used MC (not rebuilt) and am going to monitor the
pump time very closely.  Again, anyone looking to have their MC rebuilt by
Shade Tree, I offer you my rebuilt one before you spend the money.
