At the Pomona, CA Fair grounds

they have street legal drag racing for $10 [that's probably per race].
This is a good event if you're interested in finding out what your Alfa can do the quarter mile.  And, yes, YOU get to drive.

This is the same strip they hold the Winternationals.

Also at the Fairplex, they hold the "WEST COAST LARGEST ANTIQUE AUTO, CORVETTE, PORSCHE, STREET ROD & VW CAR SHOW & SALE" which essentially winds-up is being a private sellers used auto lot.

I intend to attend on August 30th [the next once a month scheduled event] and here are some of the details for those that may be interested in selling a vehicle.

Promoters are George Crawford and Son (714) 832-2041. 

Vehicle Entry Fees paid upon arrival cash only and no preregistration required:  pre 1976 $15.  All vehicles not Corvette, Porsche, Street Rod or VW are $50 and this includes two people passes.

Show Hours: Sun 5 am - 2 pm

Vendor / auto seller set-up Hours: Sat 9 am - Sun 5 am

Alfa Romeos are in the Vintage area.
Spots given on 1st come 1st serve basis.
