Here's more data point.

2.5 milano gold, water pump failed week after my purchase, 
it later seized while driving at 29k miles.

my current verde should have about 30k, perhaps I should
just replace the timing belt and leave the water pump alone to see how
long it last... thought one of the short host has a bulge on it...
