As little acceptance as they gets in the US, CVT equipped vehicles
are quite popular in the smaller cars in japan and probably
most of asian countries where SF's traffic looked like heavan in
comparison.

Both Toyota and Nissan have those minis (size of Minis as well), 
some dressed in high-tech look, some in classic looks, but all
in the same chassi and same CVT and engine. 

CVT allows max acceleration by keep engine running at it's peak
output, however, the intelligence is currently low on regular
driving needs.

Let's see if Alfa will show us a breakthru in CVT technology. But
before that, PLEASE GIVE US 156 V6 6-SPEED!
