Axle noise

Check the rear end. Is it coated with sticky fluid? If so, you may have a rear pinion seal leak (not uncommon in spiders). If you do find fluid, purchase the proper sized allen key to get the plug off (12mm or 14mm, it varies). Check to make sure fluid level is right, if not add fluid. If pinion seal is leaking it
must be replaced, not a horrible job but one that does require a special tool. Check soon, as if you let the rear end run out of fluid it makes awful noises that never go away.
