Ken,
It is well known that to make any event occur, one only has to say or do 
something contrary to said event. 
How does a smoker get his meal to show up at a restaurant? Light one up, food 
appears instantly.
How does one receive notification about auto parts paid for and then AWOL? 
Gripe about it in public, presto! communication is established and parts are 
known to be on the way.
How do I make sure to show up late for work one day? Laugh at a coworker the 
day previous for being late.
It is amazing how it works.
