[alfa] RE: red light

I was driving my 1971 Berliner this morning in the dark and bling, on
came a small red light located in the tachometer.Of course ,I have no
owners manual and my shop manuals ,while having those amusing pages of
wiring diagrams, were of no help.
Oil pressure was fine.Heat fine .
The car showed no symptoms of anything untoward.
Anyone know what the little light means?
