I dug into the files to look at my faxes from Signora Ruocco. My '69 Spider  
was "sold...to Alfa Romeo from Newark, Usa." I take this to mean it was  sold 
to Alfa USA, who later resold it. My '68 GT Junior,  however, was sold to "Mr. 
William Simonkos from Texas, USA." I never took  the latter to mean it was 
delivered in the US, only that it was  sold to an individual from the U.S., 
presumably direct from the factory.
