[alfa] Transmission Oil for 1961 2000

I have re-built the transmission in my 1900.   It is a 1961 2000 5-speed
transmission. The syncros are the early type requiring Shell Dentrax 90 an
non-EP oil.

A. Does anyone know of a source for Dentrax 90?

B. Pat Braden's books say a work around is to use 40 or 50 wt oil with a can
of STP.  My mechanic says never use STP - has the same effect as EP oil.
Does
anyone have personal experience with these transmissions and the correct oil
to use?
