Richard, you are fortunate to have a wife who is involved with a 
business which appears to be quite helpful for esoteric  Alfa and (?) 
projects.

Quite frankly I never thought of the heat transfer benefit, though doubt 
if I go anywhere near as fast nor require as serious braking aids as 
yourself.

Interesting information.

Does her company have the ability to brew you up a set of ceramic discs 
/ pads for your car while you wait?
