Sorry this is delayed but I've been O/S for a few weeks.

1.    Of course you can fit A/C to a Duetto.  It's simply a matter of
sourcing a heat exchanger (evaporator) which will fit in the desired
location.  The A/C 116s I've owned simply have the heatex sandwiched against
the heater matrix.  If I can locate it I'll forward a pic of the same setup
from my old 75TS.

The condensor, compressor and piping are less difficult to fit but the
compressor may be tight in a Duetto's engine bay.

I think there is a correct sequence to the heater and A/C matrices but I
can't remember offhand which works best to dry the air.  ie: air goes thru
heater then A/C, or vice-versa.   I suspect the latter.

2.    I believe the latest Lotus Elise utilises an A/C compressor which is
electrically powered rather than belt driven off the engine.
