[alfa] Copy paste



Steal? Actually Apple paid common shares of stock for the technology. Microsoft agreed to a licensing agreement on Truetype fonts with Apple in exchage for key technologies. Apple believed that Microsloth couldn't make it work with DOS. So they entered a deal to try to break Adobe's grip on postscript technology.

Yup, they sure did. However, if Jobs and company hadn't, ummm, somewhat
borrowed it, it never would have come to light - and Bill wouldn't have
ever become a gazillionaire - and everyone would still be keyboarding in
backslashes along with other obscure codes which only a relatively small
handful of people (sometimes referred to as geeks) knew.
