Good accel, but cutting out under partial throttle could be a broken compensator link retaining spring. To check it, remove the SPICA air cleaner box. Then, on top of the injection pump, you'll see a triangular plate with a short stud and nut sticking out. That is the barometric compensator (BC) bellows assembly. Remove the three countersunk machine screws and carefully withdrawl the BC. It's not attached to anything inside the pump. Be careful with the BC. It's somewhat fragile, so you don't want to drop it. Put it in a small box on top of a rag or something and protect it from inadvertant damage. Next take a flash light and look inside the cavity that the BC is in. You'll see a spring about an inch long. It should be attached to the compensator link arm at the bottom and the machine screw that goes through the FI pump body at top. It's ok to press on it slightly to make sure it's attached both top and bottom. A broken spring will be pretty obvious. If it's broken, often times it breaks near the top and you can remove the small broken piece and reattach the good part to the top screw. If this is indeed the case, it's easily done yourself.
