later GTV-6s switched to the now-ubiquitous 3 wire sensor, i think, which was
standard on all milanos. the 2 extra wires are for a heating element so that
the sensor comes to temp quicker and stays there. if the car doesn't already
have a 3 wire sensor, would switching to one possibly help?
