I used Mobil 1 synthetic 15w50 in my '92 164L for over 100K miles. Excellent results. I also used Castrol or Kendall($$) 20w50 in my spider and GTV-6. I'm going to switch my V-12 XJ-S over to Mobil 1 15w50 (11 qts. ouch!) when I finish my current major service.
