[alfa] 164 console removal method

What is the best way to replace the map light console that gets all sticky 
in a 164.  I got a new one, but I  see the screws are in from the top.  Do I 
need to drop the headliner?  Does the rear view mirror need to come off to 
do that?  Thank you in advance.
