[alfa] 91 Spider Veloce Fremont, CA

Hello all,
It's time for me to say goodbye to my reliable and fun 91 Spider Veloce. I just had a baby and I need 4 seater convertible in the future. I've been up here for almost 3 years now, it's a great site. Anyhow, let me tell you something about the car.
I bought this car in Sept 2001 when it had 9x000, I forgot. It had a salvaged title, but I checked it out and the owner had owned it for 5 years and everything is original (my logic is if the car is bad, he wouldn't own it for 5 years). It had some problems so he sold it to me with a very good price. I fixed everything and enjoyed it ever since.
My goal is to buy the car cheap, enjoy it without any problem and sell it cheap or donate it after 3 years because all cars lose money. I test drove many one owner 90s, but none of them drive as smooth and comfortable as my salvaged 91 and they ask 9-12k for them.
If I can't sell this car, I'll donate for tax purposes, I believe I had enough fun for the money I spent for it.
Nothing is wrong with the car, it runs greate, starts up the first crank even after weeks sitting in the garage.
I just took it to Reno (480miles) with average of 75-80 MPH and got 31 mpg. It's amazing.
-New clutch 4 or 5k miles ago (look at my pictures about clutch)
 -New instrument panel.
-4 KYB shocks after I bought the car.
 -Steering Idler good used replaced.
 -rebuilt trailing arms.
-Tires were new when I bought the car, look at the pictures, after 20k miles they're still good and no wear out unevenly. They did fix the car good when they rebuilt the front end. I never rotate the 4 tires.
-I took the pictures today without washing it. Take a look at the pictures when it's cleaned, it's still a great looking car.
-All brakes are good, but I have all new pads to go with the car.
-I have books and manual and cardisk for the car. The original package was stolen.
-The top is still in excellent shape, I seldomly pull it up because it's Sunny Cali and I drive straight to garage.
-The trannie bearings were replaced when I fixed the clutch the second time, check the pictures.

There are NOTHING that need to be done beside 2 things I will mention. Everything works, lights, power windows.

 1. The ignition some times doesn't crank, so I add an external switch to crank the engine, works great.
 2. The coolant switch that turns on the fan is dead (shorted), I add a switch to turn it on in the city when the temp goes above 180F, I have the new thermo switch, but haven't had time to replace it.

Everything is intact, very original car for the salvage title.

Look at the pictures and if you have any questions, let me know. I want 2-2.5k for this car. To me, it's great for the money, I was in the car for 6k, 3 years, 1.2k/year depreciation. I'm happy with what I will get.

If you buy this car for 2.5k, drive for 2 years, and I'm pretty sure you can, but I can't guarantee by Murphy's law, you had your fun and donate it then.

Thanks,

Louis Le
