Yep Marci and I were just talking how great it would be to have the 156 TD
that we rent when in Italy.   The car gets great fuel mileage and plenty of
power.  The other myth about diesel engines being noisy is also bunk.  These
cars are nice and quiet no real difference between a gas vehicle.
