This was a well timed thread. I had noticed in my newly acquired '86 spider that running the fan on high resulted in a measly 12v on the voltmeter. When off I saw 13 or so.

This jumps to the top of the todo list for this weekend, just ahead of installing a new set of Carbotechs. I'll report the difference after upsizing the output wiring.
