keith goring put type g clamps in my 74 GTV several years ago, and none
have ever loosened up. jeff put type g clamps in my 1991 164 about a year
and a half ago and none have lever loosened up.

your problem seems kind of unusual to me, i'm not quite sure what to make
of it.
