[alfa] Re: Spider Quad Side Skirts

The side skirts on a Quadrifoglio are not riveted on. They are glued on
through a series of attachment points along the sides and finally screwed on
in the wheel wells. The best way to fix a sagging side skirts is to very
carefully remove it so as not to break any of the still attached anchors,
unscrew the ends and re-glue it back on with the proper gluing agent. Make
sure that you replace the screws front and back and seal up the screw holes
with a dab of silicone before screwing in the screws to achieve better rust
prevention.

Also of note. The side skirts do not trap water/moisture and increase the
rate of sill/rocker rust, but they do hide rust so be prepared to expose the
usual rocker rust on your car. It might be fine, but it might not!
