[alfa] Spider transmission mounts

Looking for verification: When mounting a complete 2000 unit - engine,
bell housing, transmission - into a '69 (1750) Spider, one must also use
the 2 liter's transmission mounting unit?

Very rough measurements have the large mounting bolt holes on the 2
liter's mounting unit approximately 1.25" farther back than on the
1750's. Whereas the bell housing is approximately 1" longer on the 2
liter's.

Agree, disagree?

Also, are the gear ratios the same on both transmissions? If not, which
transmission and bell housing works best for this swap?
