Thanks for the response. I haven't actually tested them, but both the oxygen sensor and plug wires should be in good shape. I replaced the cap, rotor, and plug wires myself a little over a year ago, and had the oxygen sensor replaced the last time I had to get the car smogged (maybe 1 1/2 years ago?). I'll have to check the connections on the thermostat housing and airflow meter flap when I get back in town. I'll pull the plugs out too and see how they're looking. Regarding spark plugs, which type of NGK plugs do you use? I know there has been a discussion recently regarding whether or not to use a projected tip plug (B7ES vs. BP7ES). Do you have a preference between the NGK and the Denso? Thanks for your time.
