Leon,

Having recently removed the alternator on
my car I can confirm that this works on RHD
drive cars as well i.e. the alternator can
be removed upwards. Yes its a fiddle but it
works and I think is preferable to working
from below. Also the auto oil cooler pipes
get pretty fragile if they are rusty so if
it avoids disturbing them so much the better
(learnt that the hard way!).
