FWIW

Assuming you run your own mail server and dependant on your budget, a
product like mimesweeper http://www.mimesweeper.com
is an option. Has granular block/allow rules (i.e. allow fred@domain.elided
disallow *@domain.elidedand content scanning , cost dependant on no. users
(one would assume on your domain name)

I regret that I will be blocking all mail from netcom.com soon.

All I recieve from that domain is trash.

Just last week I blocked hotmail.com (a free service from microsoft) for
the
same reason.

If anyone has an effective way of eliminating spam without blocking
entire
domains, please let me know!
