This is the only option other than a complete new rear wing (and a
complete new sill if you mean the front lower part next to the
door)

With a very well made repair panel and skillful welding the amount of
filler required should be minimal.

If you mean the rear part of the lower rear wing, I repaired mine in
this way, but the awkward shape proved difficult to fabricate. The
only way to make it look any good was to use a lot of filler.
It looks fine, but upsets purists should it be noticed. If you make
the join along the line of the bumper side piece that should allow
room for manoeuvre and hide any minor imperfections.
