Hi Andrew

The rear window is heated by the two connections sited on top of the 'B'
post's. 

i.e. the two spring loaded lugs. Although it is quite common for these
connections to be missing !

When the hard top is fitted the the two male connectors make contact with
these and hey presto !! heated rear window.
