Aftermarket Chip

I just learned from a friend that there is a company that is producing a
replacement chip for the ECU for the Fiat 2000 Spiders (maybe X 1/9s as
well). He thinks that the company that sells them is called DTR in England.
Has anybody heard of this chip? Has anybody ever used it? I imagine it is
probably intended for something else but just so happens to cross with a
2000 Spider.
