no, i believe the one on ebay last year was an M-2-4. i'm pretty sure
that's what it was. you don't happen to know what happened to that, do you?

the full 4x4 lineup started with the M-1-4 with single wheels all around,
then M-2-4, M-3-4, and M-6-4, all dual rear wheel trucks.

the M-3-6 is a single rear wheel tandem axle truck. according to the number
system IH used, the first number is how many half-tons the truck is rated
for, the second is how many driving wheels it has (duals count as a single
wheel for this purpose). thus in the last digit a 4 is 4x4, a 6 is 6x6.
there was a version of the M-5-6 without a front driving axle, this was
listed as M-5-6x4.
