Joel, you're right, the NP205 does have the round
plate w/ 3 bolts. And it's a very very stout case. Now
that being said, you get an older one that's been
through hell & not properly maintained, and you can
very likely have problems. Beka had a junkyard 205
blow up in her 1999 Chevy crew cab. That's a hell of a
nice 2wd conversion!!!! 454, auto, dana 60 front &
rear, 38" tires, but she put a junkyard 205 in it. And
it went out. But she does take that truck offroad.
It's a super nice rig, but it ain't no trailer
queen!!!
