Digesters,
Im freshening up my 72 SII engine (IH red) and frame (gloss black) with new 
paint.
I just thought Id jot down a line or two in hopes of helping the next person 
searching for IH red spraypaint. 
This info and finally the paint was gathered over a period of around 10 days, 
while working 12 hour shifts, so it could have been done faster.
Napa carries a line of RufNek (Martin Senour Paints) spraypaint that they are 
discontinuing according to the counter person, an older gentleman, at my 
local NAPA. He said that there are some cans still in stock, but that there 
wouldnt be any more after they are gone. Unfortunately he didnt have any IH red in 
stock.
Napa RufNek IH Red # 79021. Approx 6.00 a can.
Plasi Kote makes an IH Red spraypaint in their farm implement paint. You can 
find a retailer near you by calling 800-251-4511 and asking a real live 
person!
They told me that the local Carquest carried Plasi Kote.
When I called Carquest, they didnt have any #1359 in stock, but they said 
they could order it for me. I ordered 4 cans for the engine.
Plasti Kote International Red #1359. Approx 6.50 a can.
Sheesh! Who knew it would be so hard to find IH red paint.
