ahhhh... good man, good man. when you're ready, ask Joel Brodsky. i bet
he'll still have one or another he's ready to part with. last time i
looked, he had quite a few clean ones in his stable. what're you thinking
of getting for your next go round?

## >> i also have a bit of a liking for old Farmalls

me too. no place to keep one if i could get one, but i like 'em anyway. on
Highway 99 in CA, along the route south from Fresno to Tulare, there's a
dairy with a fairly old Farmall (i don't know the model) sitting in the
middle of a field. doesn't look like it's been moved in decades. the
closest thing i'll ever get to owning my own Farmall in the forseeable
future is the original toy all-steel enclosed-cab 1466 Farmall (circa 1971
or 1972) that my brother and i were given that year. pictures available if
anybody wants to see it.

'course, a little farther south, somwehere south of Bakersfield, i think,
there's another farm with a notable landmark. they have a '40s truck
painted bright chromium yellow with a large water tank where the bed once
was, sitting in an unused corner of a field, near the highway. what's
special about the truck is that it's a halftrack. looks compleat, tracks
and armour pieces still in place when i drove by last. may not run, who
knows? it looks to have been there quite a while.

Take care and be well, all thee and thine;

May the Hamr lend thee Strength and Courage,
May the Twin Ravens lend thee Wisdom and Guidance,
May the Wolves Guard and Protect thee, and
May the Light of Harmony ever shine brightly upon thee and thine,
Through all thy Life's Journeys, from this life unto the next!

Hail the Gods and Goddesses of our Folk!
Wassail!
