Another thing about the Permatex teflon product is that when  you coat the
threads with it you get fine lubrication and good torque readings.  Nice
gentle torque build with no notching or sticking.  We've used it on many
through bolts into an oil bath area.  All perfect.

We used a permatex product number 80633. It's a thread
sealer with teflon in it. Eldon McFarling recomended
it. No leaks on anything it's been used on.
