oops.  i didn't see till after i sent this that i'd made a mistake.  it's 50
miles EACH WAY, from our house in the mountains to her job in the city.
total driving time about an hour and a half each way.  we lived in that
house in the mountains a little over three years.  making that round-trip no
less than 6 days a week, and often 7.  yes it got expensive, but for the
priveledge of driving these old IH trucks, it was worth it then and it's
worth it now.
