because i've created local DNS zones for the binder bulletin with the last
set of IP addresses hard-coded in, traceroute takes me to my own DNS server
and the addresses stored there in those local zones.  if the actual numbers
have changed, and my DNS doesn't reflect the new addresses, nothing will
resolve to the new addresses from my side of my firewall and DNS servers.
in order to get the new addresses from inside my network, i have to delete
the zone (or take the DNS servers down), get the new addresses, and then
recreate/edit the existing zone.  it's just easier to ask somebody else what
the new numbers are and then put them in.  not a big deal, there are only
four DNS servers to update, i just didn't want to have to delete and
recreate.
