On a '72, grind the rivets off holding the front spring rear shackle
hanger, then slide it back to the 2wd location and re-install.

Now go order a lift for a 73-87 (or was that 69-72) Chevy.

In the 4-6" lift range, my calcs told me I'd get about 2" less lift on my
IH than I would vs. the advertised Chevy lift.

So if you buy a 12" lift, you'll probably end up around 10".
