i did my small part already.  i wasn't gonna say anything, but maybe my
miserly contribution might help inspire others who have not yet done so to
do their bit too.  i'd miss each and every one of you a great deal if
something happened to the Digest.

there are roughly 800 channels in there on the cable box (or so i'm told, i
don't stray around the tuner much).  which one is PBS?  Between The History
Channel and whichever channel is hosting M*A*S*H this quarter (i wish they'd
make up their minds and stick with it), i don't get much other watching
done.  when i turn the thing on at all.
