Nick, if you are only 'guessing' that this is why it threw a rod, you
shouldn't be assembling the 304, either. :-)

BTW--do NOT , repeat, _absolutely_ do NOT reuse any of the rod bolts from
any of the OTHER seven rods that did NOT come apart--ANYWHERE !!! In fact,
don't re-use the other seven rods, EITHER, without having the big ends of
them reconditioned, and after magnafluxing them-- !!!
